Cleaning M-Sport Blackout Trim

For all those that have an M-Sport package with the darkened trim, it can be cleaned by compounding and or polishing. I used Meguiars M105 mirror glaze compound and their ultimate polish.

I was at my wits end on how to get rid of that chaulky looking film. The picture attached was the best shot of the before and after I could get because it was raining all day. I plan to cover it with ceracoat. It should permanently prevent the film from coming back. I swear by cerakoat for trim. Don't get it on your paint though.
