4x4shop.ca 12.3 Touchscreen

Hello all…Happy Labor Day! Has anyone here upgraded their X5 with a iNAV 12.3” touchscreen from 4x4shop.ca? If you have maybe you can help! I contacted their Tech support but it can take up to 36 hours for them to get back to you!
The Touchscreen came with the mounting bracket attached and you can’t attach all the necessary cables while this bracket is attached! I’ve tried everything to slide it off but it won’t budge maybe someone in this forum can help?

Yes. I have their unit. And have posted plenty warning people not to buy from them.

As far as the bracket goes I didn't have any issues so without pics idk what you're struggling with.

I have this and have had 0 issues with it. I think it should as you say just slide off. If you are looking at it as it would sit on the dash the screen should slide down IIRC

Ok I put one of these in an E70 today. There are some locking clips you have to lift on.

The F15 & F85 shouldn’t require any attached brackets, there is however one that loosely sits on the bottom of the screen. Maybe you received unneeded parts?

I haven’t had any issues with them, why would you advise to steer clear of them?
