Hey guys.!
Totally new to the BMW world and just recently found these forums!
Upgraded from a 2013 Volkswagen CC (loved that car btw), just needed something bigger for my adventures & dog lol.
About a month ago I purchased a 2015 F15 X5 sDrive35i M-Sport in Mineral White.
I didn't waste any time in doing little mods to it.
Looking to keep my F15 very clean/tasteful in mods, OEM+ kind of feel.

I've included some photos from a little photoshoot I did for it the other day.

So far, this is what I've done to it.

Current mods;
Full screen Apple Carplay
Black kidney grills
Gloss Black M Style mirror caps
Gloss black front lip
Gloss black rear Diffuser/Side winglets
Eibach Lowering Springs
Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires
Door puddle lights w/M Logo
Coding for some features.
Genuine M Performance gloss black roof lip spoiler
Evolution Racewerks charge pipe
BMS Intake
Clear front fender reflectors
Hawk Talon Slotted/Cross Drilled rotors

Future little mods;
Remove side door badges (maybe)
Wheel spacers (maybe)
Longer paddle shifters
Wheels
Hot side turbo charge pipe
Intercooler

I think that's all I'm gonna do to it.
Lemme know what you guys think and if there's anything that would go great with the car!

Love this, wish we didn't have to have the number plate on the front here in the UK it looks so much better. Is the m performance kit carbon fibre or black?

oh man! bummer you guys have to have the front plate on!
im lucky here in the state im in, they dont require the front plate. definitely makes the cars look cleaner.
the M Performance kit, is a knock off from eBay. fitment isn't the best but not terrible either. I would give it a 8 out of 10, nothing a little creativeness can't fix to make it fit better, and its in gloss black color.

Huge change from the CC. I had it lowered so being higher off the ground and softer ride is appreciated haha. There's just so much room for activities haha. Not used to having so much interior space and space for my dog.
And thank you for the compliment on the tasteful mods!

Rear diffuser fitment is good. Can't really complain on the negatives given its all from eBay and in, general fitment is good. Added extra trusty 3M double sided tape on the areas where I felt it needed it. And replaced the double sided tape that it came with, with thicker and wider 3M tape. The supplied double sided tape seemed on the cheap side.

This is a kit from eBay.
I believe the kit was about $370 shipped.
It came included with the front lip, rear diffuser & side winglets

Hey guys. Just wanted an opinion.
As previously stated in my original post. I want to keep a clean/OEM+ look.

What are your guys thoughts on removing the badges on the sides, only keeping the X5 badge on the trunk.

Also was able to aquire a set of the black side foils, that have that "M performance" logo that go on the side skirts.
But not sure if that would really go with my clean/OEM+ look I'm trying to stick with.

Let me know your guys opinions!

I've dabbled with removing the side badges. Mines a 2017 but i'm worried since they've been on this long the paint underneath might need work.

I'd skip the M Performance stickers but that's preference. I got them with my MPPK and still didn't put them on.

You might consider adding the M Performance Brake Package, and the M Performance Exhaust. I have both and love em.

I have a 2016 and removed the side badges and residue with no prob (believe I used WD-40). I also put the M-Performance stickers on (dealer "installed") when I got my MPPK, but understand why that would be a personal preference. I think they are more understated than the black decal with the M-Performance lettering while still looking appropriate (when the side badges are removed that is).

I agree - MPE is amazing. Love the added grunt. I don't have the MPBK myself, but upgraded to the same brake kit from the M50d from Europe which I am happy with, so the MPBK must be even better.

Mine has the M-Performance decals on the skirts and I can't decide how I feel about them. They're the only part of my car that's showing some damage from UV/road grime and they look a little faded. I'm dabbling between trying to clean them up with clay bar, removing them entirely, or having them replaced with brand new OEM parts. It seems like the skirts you bought are painted black in addition to having the black decals. This would look very odd IMO.

I'm debadged (rear) other than the side emblems. To be honest I largely have them because it's the only indication that I have the relatively uncommon 35D

BTW if you end up replacing your wheels I'd be interested buying yours assuming they have no curb rash/bends
