F15 X5: Thule Vector Alpine too large?

For any of you with the Thule Vector Alpine box on the F15 X5:

Could you please confirm no interference with the windshield and rear hatch?

I'm leaning in favor of the Alpine, but the fit looks pretty snug and I'm trying to make sure I shouldn't go with the smaller Vector M box.

Thanks for your help!

No one's answered but hopefully I can help, at least a little.

I have the Inno BRM660, so about 3" shorter than the smaller Vector M box. I set mine a couple inches from the hatch when it's up and the front came up to about (or a little in front) where the windshield meets the roof. Not a big deal if it went in front of the windshield, imho.

Check out etrailer, a lot of people post photos of their SUV with different roof cargo boxes, I know I've seen plenty of X5 on there. rackattack also use to make it easy to see by SUV but I don't see that right now. Oh, and youtube - etrailer and rackattack post their videos there.

I have Thule Force XT Alpine, which has the same length. In my opinion fits well to X5 F15. It sticks over windscreen, but I do not see any bug issue with this.

I have the Alpine. Take these pics for what their worth, but there's no interference. If you're worried, you can set the box back a bit and decrease the rear hatch opening window from the iDrive, but I've not had to do that.
