Unhappy F15 n55 intake air temp sensor short / water pump after installing nkg plugs

Hi there mates,

Had done spark plugs and dinan coils job yesterday with nkg gapped to 0.022 getting multiple codes now. For intake air temp sensor and water pump. Was very disappointed to see that on the first run. However, no errors for the actual sparks or plugs as of yet. I know these codes absolutely doesn't make any sense when it comes to the ignition components but still should I change everything back to stock? Is that possible that coils and new sparks generating excessive amount of heat ? Coolant pump error: coolant pump outside of tolerance. Intake air temp sensor : short circuit to B+. I was not able to replicate the air intake temperature error, once I cleared the codes that error was gone for good. But now I feel skeptical that sensor could be bad. I have some trouble finding the actual sensor. I did clean maf sensor tho. Now I'm stuck with the water pump error that it's outside of tolerance and can't rly do much. Water pump was fine before the coils/sparks change I'm completely frustrated. I did spark plugs job several years ago on my old x3 and everything went smooth. Any advise would be highly appreci appreciated. I need to fix this asap the front fan running line an airplane even though the engine temp remains normal I'm not sure how the water pump is failing at this point.

Those are both likely related to the plugs you undid on the intake.

Double-check all the electrical connectors you may have touched, too.

Unplug, inspect for damage & reseat them hearing a firm 'click.'

I had to disconnect maf sensor and pcv hose with thin 2 wire connector - I replugged both of them everything seems firm. Those are the only connectors I removed during spark plugs replacement.

Where is air intake temperature sensor is located on n55 bmw x5 2017? Can't find that one.

Apparently MAF is the intake temperature sensor. I have unplugged it took it for a spring and the same error populated. Looks like MAF is working on my bimmer. What would cause that water pump error I have no clue ..

Does a water pump have a specific wiring that has to be checked or a sensor? I'm very skeptical that I have a bad water pump. Thank you in advance !

Checked fuse box for axillary water pump fuse is good. I pulled the fuse and started the engine same code populated (wp out of tolerance) I noticed that error would appear regardless with or without the fuse for aux water pump. I'm wondering if i have a damaged wiring somewhere. Is there a way to check in MHD if water pump pumping water ? Coolant reservoir seems to be at max level but the coolant does not move in 10 mins run I noticed that coolant started to slightly shaking but not like boiling water and overflow. Is there any wiring that might affect the water pump in the upper header of engine bay right in the middle ? That's the only part I moved in order to get access to 5 and 6 cylinder. I was extremely carefull tho. Water pump issue appeared right after the spark plugs were changed.

That water pump code says 'shadow inactive.'

This code may be indicating a potential problem developing. Apparently, the motor was detected as spinning out of tolerance. Likely, not starting.

You might do a coolant bleed with the engine cold & parked. This will allow you to verify the pump is functional at this time.

Take the cap off & do this...

If it isn't moving coolant, you likely need a new pump/thermostat.

Pump failure is common.

Replace the Pump, Thermostat, Expansion Tank, Upper & Lower Radiator Hoses for the longest service life of the cooling system.
