Question Aftermarket Catalytic Converter options

Hey there! Driving a 2017 X5 35i xDrive - replaced the OEM catalytic converter with a catless downpipe but need to replace it again to be able to pass emissions. (In Austin, TX) What are my options? Looking for the most affordable solution.

Is OEM my only choice? Are there universal cats I can replace the catless downpipe with? Thanks in advance

You might be able to get a cat welded in your downpipe, not sure what the clearances are on the 6 cylinder.
