Engineering brillance. Take everything you applied on the X5/X6 M, refine it then add CFRP and apply it to the GXX M5 and we could be looking at something amazing.

Looking at the engine animation and so on, I have one issue. Well, the first issue is that the "new engine" is still the same, old 4,4 Liter twinturbo which BMW unveiled in 2007 I believe, just that this one is tuned by the M division. Really, why not make a 3,8 Liter or 4 Liter V8, a lot more effective and modern, efficient, and as long as you solved the large turbo gap with the Hot-V layout, this shouldn't be a problem, or is it? Maybe R&D simply doesn't want to finance a new V8. Oh, and if the Rumors are true, the new 7 series will have the 4,4 Liter again... whyyyyyy.

The second issue is the position of the engine if you look at the drivetrain. More than half of the engine is in front of the halfshafts, which means that the X5 M and X6 M models will be nose heavy, which is Audi standard, but not acceptable in an M car, even if it is xDrive. I hate that feeling, thats why Im fond of the new M3 and M4 where at least 80% of the inliner is behind the half shafts, making the wheels turn freely, and feel like a mid engined car, if you ignore the sound.

old one looked better. but the new tech, better engine, better trans, better MPG, all kinda push toward getting one of these over picking up a used 2013

Dinan S1 package for the X5M

I've read a few reviews of the Dinan S1 Package for the X5 M. I just bought a 2015 X5 M with low miles. It is the Donnigan Grey with the gorgeous extended Red leather. I had a 1998 X5 4.6 that someone had rode hard and hung out to dry one time to many.

Thus far, I'm amazed at the acceleration and fit and finish. The most incredible attribute by far though is the handling. I had a 2007 335i with the M package that handled almost as well as my 2001 E46 M3. The way that my X5 M communicates all the way up to its limit is incredible. The body roll is also controlled beyond the limits of physics it seems.

I would like to get the Dinan package. I had it on my 335i and beat a 2012 Vette off the line in a 1/4 mile with my wife, kids, and a bike rack once. It costs about 10,000 though. Can you really feel the extra 100 hp which starts out as 30-40 at the low rpms?

For the front, I hate the fog lights in that location (are they really even necessary?) And I loathe that center intake being split in two with the huge license plate holder.

Maybe I'm feeling a bit overconfident but I feel like I could have designed better bumpers.

No doubt the cars will have some aggressive road presence.

Hi All, does anyone know if the December lease rates for a 2021 X6M will be the same or get a little better vs November?
