BMW 2015 X5M in Donnington Gray looks more expensive just do to the paint color. But personally I am not into metallic paints.

Great job of comparing the two colors...Donnington has silver particles...Space Gray has deeper texture and is less bright.
I recognize that both are good but I personally am left with Donnington.

Not a big fan of the F85 exterior. The E70 was a better design IMO and aged very well.

I think that's the standard side grille just wrapped in vinyl CF.

Correct you are. I was told the M Performace Air Breathers are still a couple weeks away from being available, so decided to try this look. Very impressed by pics. hoping it looks as good in real life...

Just went to look at a four series in Mineral Gray and it doesn't appear to be close to the DG. The MG is far too dark for my tastes and I still much prefer my Space Gray 335i.

Maybe I could find something in the Individual exteriors that I like.

Thanks for info. Will definitely give them a call. Need to get the CF console and shifter. Any idea what those will be going for?

Since the M performance kidney grill/air breathers are black I think I will wrap the chrome on the kidneys in CF film like on the sides for now. Hopefully one day someone will release those parts in true CF... All I know is both CF and black look better than the chrome!

According to ASAP and the parts systems, they are all still NLA right now. Did this Joe guy actually say he could order and obtain them?

BTW, fender, rocker panel, and the door from beneath the character line have all been beneath character line have all been covered in Xpel ultimate. Upper door has not. Can't tell the difference. Love this product!

Sorry you had some issues with your dealer. And I will definitely check with Joe. But I just wanted to be 100% clear that dealing with Adam @ Seattle BMW was super easy and we had a deal worked out within minutes. Obviously I have to reserve final judgment until car is delivered, but so far I have nothing but great things to say about this purchase experience -- despite them being a few days late with the M performance gear.

Hi Wdimagineer, yes. Like I said, the trick is to order from a M Certified Dealer. The front grills and the side grills were released last week for order. The interior parts and mirrors are on hold until April 7, April 12, and April 18th. All parts are in USA, some showing quanities of 1 in west coast (Dash/Door in Carbon Fiber) to 350 pieces of front grills left and right.
I will say this is a very weird way of getting accessories for a car that's out and on the road. Gotta love BMW!
