Unhappy How to feel stupid....

Drop off M for service. Get behind the wheel of 5 series loaner. Adjust seat, mirrors, find radio station. Put foot on brake, move shifter to the left and up. Wonder why you're not going backwards.... Priceless.

Carry on

This happened to me 2 years ago - took me 5 min to figure out how to back out of my parking spot.

Thanks guys. I'd rather it this way, in a loaner at the dealership. As opposed to when I first got the M. I was in a parking lot on day 2 trying to get out of a tight spot and wasn't able to shift back a forth from reverse to drive quick enough, got caught in neutral with people looking and waiting as the engine roared and I went no where.

I'd be so confused if I got an M for a day. I would have no clue how to reverse the car!

I got a 7 series with the M package and gesture control when I had the CF console put on. Wait until you experience that! Accidentally started turning up the volume and had no idea what was going on.

Now that would be a problem for me. I have a vowel at the end of my name so I can't talk without using my hands. And yes, yelling at the idiots on the road counts as talking. I can't imagine what kind of things my hands would control.
