i had some parts install last night nothing crazy. dual slot kidney grilles and carbon fiber shifter. as I was waiting i was looking at the other cars getting wrapped up. carbon fiber caps are bit pricey

I noticed that for 2017, you could opt for the 19" instead, at no cost. But meh, the wheels were the only reason I got it.

Think it also has to do with the crowd you surround yourself with. MI car community was huge into mods, moved to NC and it's the complete opposite so I've stopped purchasing such things and moved on to other ventures.

Funny thing is, some of the closest people in my life can't let a paycheck pass without putting a good chunk of it into their cars. I applaud them for their zeal and their cars look great, I am just genuinely over that phase. Like, it doesn't even interest me in the slightest, anymore. If my car is a 2017 ZCP M3 with a stick and full leather from the factory, I am more than happy to enjoy it as it is. I can think of countless other things to do with my money. But it's all subjective, people can do whatever they choose. That's the beauty of the world.

I'm over the phase of dumping money into something that isn't a direct investment. Unless it's a real hobby and you're out on the track running laps, then that's cool because it's something you can have as a life experience. If you're just driving to and from work, it seems pretty pointless anymore.
