Lightbulb 20" Perfomance Tires bad idea for snow?

I am looking into ordering the new 35d, and the 20" performance tires look awesome on it, however, I live in Germany...how bad will those tires be in the snow? I truly have no clue, knowing the torque that this car has. Thoughts?

Buy the 20's and get a set of Winter wheels/tires. You'll save on tread use for the expensive 20" tires and be safe in Winter.

NEVER drive a vehicle in snow with summer only performance tires. If you ignore this at least take a lipophilic beta blocker to blunt the PTSD.

We had an early snow storm and I got caught with my summer dunlops on....they were out right scary and I am a very capable winter driver.

Thank for the insight. I might just go with the 19s all season. Im not sure about the idea of changing tires and owning a second set. I used to live in a place without snow so this is all new to me.

More difficult to get snows in 20" RFT. I too prefer 1 set ( based on location and amount of driving in snow conditions), I had many Nokian's. The "All Weather" have the mountain and snow flake. I put on Nokian's after replaceing OEM's. Note: these are not BMW star approved tires. They have many in RFT in 19" and 18"
