If it's functional then I have no objection with it. But nothing too flashy like a bright red one like Cyba's

Thank you Ben!

Intake installed just now.

Personal review, you still retain the quiet interior. If you want to hear it spool or blow off open your window and its a turbogasm.

Do you notice any improvements in your acceleration and mpg with the intake installed?

In my trunk I'll put it on this weekend with a few more decals.

iND didn't want anybody else in the frame for their painted engine cover assistance.

I still haven't installed my front reflectors since I have them waiting for you

That should be an easy removal anyway. Do you have any OBDLink/Dash Command software to test your stats?

Yes I run blue driver via my Galaxy Tab for work miles so I'll use that this weekend to log as well.

I am planning on vinyl wrapping my roof gloss black, and wrapping the trunk top wing in gloss black as well just to give the roof a full gloss black look from all angles.

Any opinions? Anybody know the length of the roof? Lol Can you tell how much I've put thought into this

Just an update. Came back to the states a few hours ago. First stop was BMW NW, X5 was lifted with its transmission removed.

The new transmission was sitting next to the old one and they told me it came in Friday afternoon. So hopefully it will be done by Monday or Tuesday

Call from my Service Advisor this morning, transmission is being installed today. They want to keep it for 24 hours to make sure everything is sealed and quality checked and tested before handed back to me. So either by tomorrow evening or Wednesday morning if all goes well I should have my X5 back.

At the dealership now. Window is replaced. Transmission is sorted out. Traded them my 467M wheels for 469M wheels and tires outright.

Will post up my service receipt up tonight for all to see issues with transmission.

Cost delta for the wheel swap? They actually gave you credit for the 467Ms?

No cost, a customer was there picking up their X5 and says "I like those wheels better can I have those?" I overheard them and walked my ass up to the guy and let him know and he says "I'd rather have a M sport winter set up than these"

So the sales advisor swaps them over like a boss! Love my BMW dealer. Why I return for the past 15 years.
