Ignition switched Fuse

hello all!

Installed the Gthaus Exhaust!! very exciting and sounds great.

the valves and remote system that have been included in the construction need power. So i put a Fuse tap on the end, and attempted to find a switched fuse.

who knows what fuses in the rear right fuse panel are powered with the Key?

P.s i will have a review of the exhaust system shortly

From one of the Dashcam threads http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...&highlight=121 someone mentioned that they used fuse number 121 for switched accessory and fuse 162 for continuous battery power in the rear fuse box. So fuse 121 should do the trick for you. You using a piggyback fuse tap?

Just make sure you get the piggyback tap the right way round so the accessory is fused correctly.

The A with the circle around (#120) it is an ignition switched fuse. Turns on with the car, turns off with the car. We used it for the air suspension and it worked correctly.

Just that you want the feed side of the tap on the feed side to the existing fuse so that the accessory is connected through the extra fuse that you are protecting it with, if you enter it the wrong way round you bypass the extra fuse.

got it! makes sense lol is there diagrams or symbols to represent feed side, as they go vertical and horizontal.... my guess is to use fuses correctly the tap would face to the right or to the top....
