Depends - what do you want to do with the car and where? I have the Dunlop's here in Georgia and they're just fine - until it rains hard. Then you need to be careful with hydroplaning. They would probably suck in snow.

However, I think Dunlop (Goodyear) has the best run flat technology on this type of tire since it transmits very little road noise to the cabin, handles well (predictable) on dry roads and balances well on the wheel. But I bet they wear out within 25,000 miles. Then I will go to Conti ExtremeContact DWS, but they are not run flat - but that's why I am a AAA platinum member.

These tires offer all weather capabilities, great handling, low road noise, predictable on wet roads and, finally, reasonable cost.

My .02 cents...

Are we eligible for manufacturer's road hazard coverage? Continental typically offers 1-year road hazard coverage for all it's tires.

Mine came with 19" Continental Conti Sport Contact 5 SSR. Built April '14.

Having had a look online they're hard to find in stock anywhere but pretty expensive.

Thanks @Baunton, but mine is on a Alphabet contract including tyres, even punctures, so no need for me to buy any tyres for the next 3 years or so.
