New X5 owner, veteran Bimmerpost member

Hey guys, thought I should introduce myself over on the X5 forum. I've been a member on the F10 forum for some time now, along with other various BMW forums. Our 2015 X5 xDrive 50i M-Sport just came in last Friday. It's black sapphire metallic on black dakota leather. I opted for the standard 19" M-Sport wheels for winter driving. Will be getting some summer wheels, not sure which size or style yet...lot's of choices. We also have an Alpine White 550i M-Sport

I've been around motorsports for a while now, and pretty much love anything with an engine. I drag raced for about 10 years in a street-driven 9 second Chevy Nova that I built from the ground up.

I also do have an F10.

Lease is up soon on the F10 though, debating on what to get next.

Nice stable! Welcome to the F15 side of the house.
I am itching to get back into HPDE/track days after a many year hiatus. Hopefully Santa brings me a new Snell-rated helmet for Xmas.

I always find f15 in dark color to be more aggressive and mean looking. =)

Thanks guys. I haven't owned a black vehicle for many years. I've always liked alpine white, but my wife said no more white cars

I noticed that the other night. I assumed cornering lights were part of the Adaptive LED package
