X5 - when did a turbo charged engine become the only V8 option
Regarding the BMW X5.
I prefer a direct injected V8. At what point (year) did a turbocharged engine become the only option? What year is the last year a direct fuel injected V8 an available option? Jim |

My 2010 x5 50i was near the last ones. I gave up on several preferred options -- mainly color combos -- to get a NA engine.

Perhaps I wasn't well informed back then, but I've just not been a fan of turbocharging. Wish BMW still had a NA X5 offering but that ship has sailed for the co. D
