Beautiful combo. I'm on the fence between the M6 and this. I will be keeping my e92 M3 also. Don't really like the new M3/M4. Any pictures of the rear wheel up close? I just want to see the rear calipers, I wonder if there are one pod mono block or just regular one piston calipers.
Thank you. Eric

AwesomeM3 this looks incredible! My detailer, Nick @ Auto Obsessions linked to these photos of your X5M to promote the ceramic pro coating; did you have them apply the coating? If so, how is it? Would you reccomend it? I'm considering getting it done on my F80.

Alternatively, was something done to the photograph to heighten the brilliance of the paint? Classic photo. |

I did have the paint coated with ceramic, which brings out the color more. The photo was probably edited also, so that's probably what you're seeing.

Very nice. I just bought mine in the same color with Full Silverstone interior.
I didn't read through all 5 pages yet, but may I ask what this 'Ceramic' coating is? I've only got 104 miles on it so before the weather changes, I'd like to put some nice protection on it. Thanks!

I will definitely have to look into doing the ceramic treatment when I get my car. Is there any scientific explanation as to why it makes colors more vibrant? Interesting product. I agree with you. I think Donington has the right mix of metallic flake, color and sheen to match up nicely with the stock grills. I'm inclined to leave mine stock too. Have you passed 1200 miles yet? Have you noticed any changes in performance? |

I have just over 2000 miles now. The 1200 break-in period was the toughest part to get through. Once you break it in, you'll see the extraordinary power this vehicle has, especially when you shift close to the red line in each gear...AMAZING!

Yeah, yeah, yeah...once the weather gets a little cooler we'll go. It's been way too hot and the humidity is killing me! I need to figure out how to use the Launch Control too.
