what dealer do you recommend on east coast ?

Also, some states let you do multiple security deposits that you should try to take advantage off, they reduce money factor by 0.00007 each so you can take the interest down by up to 1.18%.
Agreed. The residuals are better this time around (X6M is 60% on a 3yr / 30k mile lease for example, and it was in the low 50s with the 2014 model). MSDs also a great way to reduce payments if you've got a surplus 8-12k floating around otherwise not earning interest
Hahaha earning interest! If I told you give me $8,000 today and I will give you your 8k plus $3600 back in three years you would have a line out the door for that deal.

Then again if your buying a $100k+ car you should have 8k sitting somewhere.

What discount, if any, did you get from MSRP?

Assuming the $2600 is first month's payment plus the document fee and further assuming that the quoted monthly payment has sales/use tax baked into it, I'd say he got around 2,000-2500 off the MSRP.

I think there must have been a deeper discount than that. My sticker on my x5m is $115900. I put down 2k, 36month lease with 15k per year, 3.1% interest and my payment is $1530. That is with a $6750 discount. I believe the residuals on the x6m and x5m are the same?

As far as I know X5M and X6M residuals are the same - 57% for 15k. Money factor as well - .00130 (assuming no MSD).

Drexel, you may want to check your lease. Assuming you paid a doc/acquisition fee of $750 and that is included in your lease payment, your payment should be around $1388 before tax if you put down 2k on top of a $6750 discount. Perhaps taxes are that high though.

The taxes here are 6.25. I did the math and it does not add up to the penny but it is close. My residual is $65,454.50

At 6.25% use tax, I get $1475 per month. But it looks like you guys get hit with an annual 2% excise tax that could be baked in as well. Yikes!

Excise tax doesn't get "baked in." It gets billed separately, usually around March/April timeframe. One will receive a detailed tax bill separately from the leasing company, and then the tax amount will get rolled into the "amount due" for the following month. Excise tax in MA decreases for every year of ownership, with the highest being during the year equalling the model year, so a my2015 will have the highest excise tax during the 2015 calendar year. If the vehicle is owned/financed, the excise tax bill goes directly to the owner, and doesn't have to shuffle through a leasing company.

Anyone know if there has been any change to residuals or money factor in May?

I believe for 36mth/15K miles residual dropped from 57% to 56%, MF went from .00130 to .00129

Best not quote me on that until it's corroborated by another post.

The truth is the dealer is my cousin so I know none of the dealers are willing to do it.. But if you mention the deal and someone is willing to match it is doable
