See post #79. About $1600 with self install.
Yeah I just saw that. God if something like this was in the market for the e92 I'd definitely be on it.

So $1600 + Self Install or GBP 400 as an option and N/A in USA? Great job BMW!
I'll be super pissed (and I know opasha will be even more pissed) if they offer this as an option on F15 LCI.

Although I am drooling all over that Audi cluster panel, I don't think too much information on dash is a good thing.

No. F30 Kombi is completely different. The only options for F30 are basic Kombi, and a 6WA Kombi that is different than the 6WA Kombi used in F1x car.

Well, technically, I didn't build my car, so I was already missing things I really wanted like DHP. However, I still love what it has. I know they offer it now in some other countries for 2015 like Saudi Arabia.

Maybe I'm old, but I prefer a set of mechanical needles. Digital display is nice, but then why use it to mimic something analog?

Nice work though OP.

Nope. Not compatible at all.

6WB is available for the F01/F02/F03/F04/F06/F07/F10/F11/F12/F13/F15/F16/F18 (China).

So basically the 5, 6, and 7 Series, plus the new X5 and X6.

That's it.

Also not compatible with M cars even if sharing a chassis designation, like the M5 or M6.

To each his own. I personally hate the new digital gauges in my 6GC. I would much rather prefer the gauges that came in the 2003. BMW is probably going to go all digital like the OP has going forward - but to me (and call me old school) the non-digital gauges are MUCH better and much less gimmicky.

You're right, it's all personal preference . Gimmicky in what sense? Care to share what you don't like about your cluster? Thanks.

Here are a few...
1. Take a close look at the fuel and temp gauges on the digital vs. analog cluster. On the digital, the needle is about 1/2 as long as it needs to be. It actually takes longer to tell your temp or fuel because your eye does not naturally see where the needle is (since it is short). On the analog gauges, the needle goes right to the number/position.
2. Take a look at your different modes (sport/comfort/eco)- that to me is the definition of gimmicky. I don't need my dash playing video games on me when I change modes.

Like I said, for me, give me back the plain old analog gauges. Doesn't make your stuff bad - it just isn't for me and honestly does not feel fully developed. But once again - that's my opinion, not fact!

I totally understand your point of view. I do agree that they should have made the needles longer and numbered them. They definitely are too small in my opinion as well. However, I got used to it real fast - maybe it's my 20/20 vision .

As far as the different mode changes, I actually like them. It's a nice way to differentiate each mode that way I also never forget what mode I'm in when I'm on the highway and need to speed up to pass cars.

It's definitely a personal thing and none is better or worse than the other . Thanks for your input, buddy .

This looks kinda just like the i3's digital dash. It looks very well done and not cheesy. Very BMW of the future. I have to say in something's I am old-school but once I drove the i3 with it's super simple digital dash display it was less distracting and way bolder to the eye.

I'm not sure, sorry . Judging by what @wdimagineer said above, it seems like no M car will be able to have it. Don't quote me on it though; he has more knowledge regarding this than I do.

I have a cluster for sale for 1k, has the miles zeroed out. Will read proper mileage from the CAS and will not show a tamper dot.

No. BMW is using a derivative version of the 6WA cluster on M cars. The lower third is a digital display.

The next generation of M vehicles is rumored to get a derivative of the 6WB cluster, but not on the F chassis for now.
