Yep first car I owned had a sungreen 1999 9-3 SE five door hatch.
Fun 2.0 turbo. Would have gotten Viggen but future wife didn't know how to drive stick.

Thanks for posting, especially the last 2 photos to compare to color it replaces.

I owned a 9-5 Aero before prior to the 135i. My 9-5 Aero was in rare Glacier Blue - lovely colour.

That Saab Sun Green was lovely too, would love to be able to buy a X5 in a colour like Sun Green.

Waiting to have a look at this Atlas Cedar in the flesh, as I had intended to order Mineral Silver so not sure what to do now - all the colour options on the X5 are rather horrid - about 8 shades of monochrome and not a lot else

I had a 2001 saab 95 aero wagon, that had the factory option of the bbs wheels...it was sweet. Had it in grey flannel metallic. Best looking wagon back then imho. With those rims and aero trim looked fast, always got complimented on what a sporty car it was.

At the time it was one of the sexiest wagons on the road along with the B5 S4 Avant. Once the E39 540i Touring M-Technik hit the road it was game over for both. That car was the bees knees.

just stumbled on this: http://www.gwinnettbmw.com/detail-20...-15402311.html

X5 built in 2016/08 with Atlas cedar exterior color. In bright light as displayed on those photo's) it shows as everyday beige (not very exciting). I have ordered my X5 in Atlas Cedar (initially went for Space Grey) and I'm still hoping it shows a bit more special then just beige (which should as I've seen that sample of Atlas Cedar in many different lightning conditions... it shows much more classy and special when not in full brightness ('fortunately' here in Belgium it's more rainy and cloudy than sunny so that's that )

Also I went for the 20 inch wheels upgrade and shadowline trim instead of the alu-trim as shown on the pictures. Crossing fingers it will look as stunning and sporty-classy in real life as shown on the BMW car configurator, once delivered!

I have not seen anything that would make me want to order Atlas Cedar.

They should have taken the photos outside.......artificial light never shows the true colour in photos

I hope to be able to see an Atlas Cedar at least in a photo taken outside before I order in about 6 weeks time, as not sure what colour to pick otherwise - X5 colour options are just so bland and uninspiring

I wish you could order the met red that is available on the X6.

I saw the swatch today and it looks similar to Donington Grey but with a hint of brown/beige undertones.

Similar to Dakota Grey?

I really need to see this color in person on a vehicle to see what it actually looks like.

How many bloody shades of grey we need......

I just want to physically harm the people in BMW that think we all live in a boring monochrome world

I have no idea what colour (sorry, I mean what shade of fucking monochrome) I am going to choose now.

So wish I could afford to buy a X5M in Long Beach Blue

I like Mineral Grey, Singapore Gray Metallic, Silverstone Metallic. I will never buy a shade with brown.

Feeling a bit better about ordering now
