cigarette lighter port

Hi,

When I plug in my phone's car charger on the front cigarette lighter port, it doesnt charge the phone but other ports do. is this normal?

Should be charging. Are you pushing the adapter all the way in or tried another adapter? Some of the micro ones don't work well.

Haven't looked at the fuse chart but maybe there's a different fuse for each charge port. I recently helped a friend change out the fuses to the cigarette lighter port and center charge port on their Audi Q5.

I tried a different adapter and looks like its charging except for the micro adapter. thanks

Sounds like an issue with the adapter. I've got the BMW branded adapter (12v -> USB) never had an issue.

Sound like you got one that's too short for the BMW port. I have the four of Anker ones from Amazon seems works well.
