Lowered 40e?

Has anyone lowered their 40e? And if so, what lowering kit did you decide to go with? Please post pics if you have them. I've tried searching the forums but having trouble finding any useful information.

I spoke with H&R and, officially, they do not have one available for the 40e, but I know there are some members who have had them installed.

Thanks!

If you have regular suspension (not air or anything like that) - I bet Eibach springs that everyone are using would fit. RGSport probably knows more about it and he probably has something for you

I believe all 40e's come with the rear air suspension standard.

If you go with springs I would go with the AC Schnitzer springs. I swear by H&R but specifically for X5's the ACS springs all day.

What's the difference between the ACS and H&R Springs/links?

Thanks!
I personally haven't done one, but H&R or ACS should work.
The question would be, which spring (the 35i or 50i) the one that's suitable for the car.
I would say the 35i since the front end is about the same weight.
While the rear would be adjustable using the link.
Now between ACS and H&R, the ACS will give you less drop but better ride quality.
But if you are care less about the ride quality, the H&R will give you the best drop for a spring.
Otherwise, KW coilover will give you the best for both world.
Let me know if you need them. I can get all of them for you.
