Winter wheel/tire package 2018 X5M

Newb here. This is probably discussed a lot, I didn't see a ton of info in the search, so I am going to ask...

Looking for winter tire / wheel set. 2018 X5M. 21" wheels. Kind of difficult to find.

Can I use 20" wheels with the correct offset?

Anyone have a link to where one could buy cold weather setup for these? Ive checked like Tire Rack and others but am having trouble finding them in 21"

Thanks

Welcome to the forum. Yes, it's been discussed a lot

I believe there's only 1 winter tire available for the 21" OEM spec wheels (style 612M), Yokohama Blue Earth. As with all 21" tires, they're likely very hard to source right now.

Yes you can use 20's - the X5M came standard with 20" wheels/tires, with the 21's being a no cost option. In fact the X5M has 2 different 20" setups (style 611M), one of them being a winter setup.

Check the Owner Classified sub-forum, tons of wheels/tires for sale:

Here's a set of X5M 20" 611M's with winter tires installed:

If you're looking to buy a brand new set then the dealer or other reputable online vendor would be best. If you're looking for something aftermarket, someone else will have to chime in.
