M Performance Rocker Panel decals

Does anyone have experience on installing this and if so, can it be done with soap water like the 3m films or does it have to be done dry?

I suggest you have it done professionally.

I tried to do it myself on the driver side and ended up ruining it. Now left with uninstalled passenger decal.

If you are good to install it yourself, I suggest you try passenger side and in case you ruin it too, am willing to sell my half.

Al,
Any suggestions on how it can be done? I was thinking using the wet method like normal 3M film.

Alan l. and Bigb348 did a DIY on the decals, maybe you can reach out to them.

My dealer actually got a 3rd party decal specialist to install mine as the dealership mechanics were not experienced enough to carry out the job!

I did mine myself but I have wrapped full cars before. Even for me it wasn't exactly a easy job to get perfect. You are better off bringing to a specialist and paying them 100 bucks to get it installed rather than ruining the decals.

jpsjr70 Who did you use to install yours? I see you are from the Jersey Shore and I'm in Toms River and was curious as I have a set sitting in my garage that I was going to attempt myself but might not based on this thread.

Detail Doctor in Shrewsbury. Ask for Shawn, he's the owner. They do a great job plus that's where I wash my X5M, excellent service.
