Lock/unlock Acoustics

Today I noticed I no longer have the lock/unlock acoustics despite the option being selected. Tried adjusting the settings and still no joy. Anyone else experience this and what's the fix?

Have you checked the coding in HU_NBT for ACOUSTICAL_LOCK_CONFIRM.

Don't have a coding cable. I guess I should get one.

I would recommend for anyone to get ENET cable so they can further customize their car's settings.
But assuming you are not coded, it could be hardware or software issue.

So your adjustment of the settings was in iDrive only, yes? And to no avail?

Yes in iDrive only and with both remotes. Nothing.

Was finally able to drop off the car for services. I was told by the Service Advisor the siren assembly went bad. That is the second issue I have had on this X5 and it currently has less than 12,000 mi.

Sorry for your issues. It is nice to get to the bottom of malfunction but no fun to have service trouble this early.

My BMW F11 LCI acoustical lock settings, maybe they work for you too.

FZD
-- 3001 LIN - SINe
--- Buzzer level high 04
--- Buzzer frequency 99
--- Buzzer duration 02

compared to original it's shorter in duration but higher in frequency

Not so bad in the grand scheme of things.
