Took my N55 X5 to the drag strip 12.94
Ran a 13.92 at 98.5mph. Not bad for a 6cyl SUV.
Mods: JB stage1 BMS intake M Performance muffler I'll upload the time slip as soon as I figure out how to resize it on my phone or once I get to my computer. *Most recent time slip (12.94) posted further down* Last edited by ZOHVI; 05-11-2017 at 10:06 AM.. |

Best 60ft that I got was a 1.8, but I was not familiar with that track so I ended up letting out early and still ran a 14.0 at 90mph (MPH proving that I let out early). I may switch over to the JB4 with a little e85 mixture soon and a better charge pipe to avoid splitting the oem one. That should make a bit of a difference. |

Ran the X5 again on my new JB4 with a small E85 Mixture and my 22" forgestar wheels instead of my lighter OEM wheels, aside from that everything else was the same. This time it went 13.35 @ 101MPH. Pretty sure that with the OEM wheels and a little race gas this thing is going to dip 12's. Not bad for a heavy SUV with a 6cyl engine haha.

I wish you could get the 0-60 times. Very impressive. Is your 35i equipped with MPPK as well?

I wish I had a V-box to log the 0-60, I may invest in one of those next. Nope, only the JB4 on an light E85 mixture, MPE (only provides sound), and BMS intake.

i recently ran a 740xi previous generation (not G10) and had about two cars on him roughly to 60. with roof rack and ski rack attachment (the reason i mention it is because its huge air resistance especially for a truck at low speeds)
similar setup to OP, so based on numbers 0 - 60 falls about 5.8s

Went back to the track this time on my OEM wheels and I added an ER charge pipe (preventative measures), otherwise all else was the same. Hopefully next time I'll be able to have it on 104 octane race gas instead of a mixture. Based off of the 60ft times and 1/4 mile time, Im pretty sure that my 0-60mph is quite a bit faster than 5.8s.

I wasn't worried about the RT, I was more focused on using the launch control efficiently and getting it to the proper RPM before jumping off the brakes.
