17' X5 xdrive35i JB4 Stage 2 Install Help

Hi everyone, I'm trying to install the JB4 Stage 2 into my 17' x5. I have figured everything out except getting the cable through the firewall. I can't seem to locate a grommet that i can push in, to run the cable through and into the cabin.

I haven't found any research regarding the firewall grommet on new x5s. If anyone can please help i'd be greatly appreciated. It doesn't seem to be the same as early f15s.
Thank you in advance.

You are correct, there is no grommet in the firewall that simply unplugs to allow you to run the obd connection. There is a larger rubber grommet on there on the drivers side firewall (basically where the main harness enters the cabin) that you can easily drill through to run the line. It has a perfect spot to drill through for the line from the inside. Thats what I did and I have no leaks or wind sounds. If you can't find it, PM me and ill try to take a pic of it.
