So where exactly are we with this? I have some 15 & 20's I was going to throw on this week and I know a lot of you bought the same setup recently. What's everyone doing?

Waiting for Ben to resolve this. Mine still in original boxes. I am hoping he will do right by us and replace them.

I don't doubt Ben will. I saw that an x-drive 35d on another post has 15 and 20's. Not sure what brand yet but it appears to be possible.

Sorry guys, was stuck in traffic from office to home to airport to home.
I saw your message 2 hours ago, but can't reply.
Anyway, BayX5 denniss , I currently have no solution yet except trying 5mm front and 15mm rear.
The xDrive have longer hub on the front axle compares to the sDrive. That throw me a curveball.
But, regardless, if you guys want to return them, let me know and I will send you the UPS return shipping label.
Or, if you want to wait for the result of 5mm front and 15mm rear, then hold on to it for now.
BayX5 , do you mind pm me that 35d post's link?
Based on the parts catalog, BMW changed the front hub part number per MY11/14. Maybe the early production uses shallower hub.

It is a 2014

The guy who started the post however has a 2016 x-drive with 18mm spacers up front.

Please post pics of a 5mm/15mm or 10mm/15mm respectively setup

I think the 20mm look a bit too agressive

thanks!

^^ Whoa! that isn't good at all.

When the spacer snapped your wheel lugs basically became loose (to some extent) because the lugs gained another 2-3MM of space since the spacer now is able to sit flush with the rotor where it couldn't before.

This is the thread i made when i tried to put on 12mm spacers up front on my Xdrive. I guess only 15+ size spacer could be installed up front on xdrive F15s. I think someone said they installed 18mm up front in another thread.

http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...ghlight=spacer

His spacers looked like this before it snapped.

That and the added stress of the weight of car on the lugs and not the hub. Not happy, and to top it off I didn't bring the stock lug bolts for my MPBK install, so now have to try n get a ride home to pick up.

Alan, no, that spacer broke when it was torqued down.

Bigb348 , as I said, I will take care of it and refund the money.

I didn't think that BMW would use a mm longer hub on the front for the xDrive.

And as the 18mm, that is a custom spacer. He CNC it.

Just when i was about to order spacers... Wow, thank you, Ben, for messaging me earlier. Would wait for pictures with 5mm and xx mm set up. Side question, is 5mm would even be visible/noticeable?

It should.
I know by number it is very small, but trust me, I can tell if a wheel need another +2mm offset.

That's crazy on the broken spacer, never seen that before. Still super happy with the look / stance of my H&R Trak+ 15/20 setup on the 469M's. I've been too busy to get the AC springs in...hoping to in the coming weeks.

Please check on the front spacer before it gets too late.
I think you will have a problem also.
