Intro - Finally quit lurking!
Hey everyone,
Just wanted to introduce myself since I've finally decided to quit lurking and start posting/contributing. I've been an avid follower of F15Post since we started researching getting an F15 for my wife last fall. I had been following F30Post since purchasing my CPO F30 back in the Spring of 2014 so I knew exactly where to find the best info when researching our F15 (here!). So why am I finally not lurking anymore? Well, I wanted to wait until I had a need to post something (either a question or a solution). This weekend I hit both of those scenarios (initially a question, then I found the solution before being approved by the moderators to post that question) while installing an InvisiHitch on my wife's F15. Anyway, I've fallen in love with the brand since purchasing my F30 a couple years ago so when we finally decided to get rid of my Wife's Pathfinder, the F15 was the obvious choice. We were initially looking for a deal on a CPO like I did with my F30, but they were hard to find and with the rebates/incentives going on last fall we decided to custom order one exactly to our liking. I ended up negotiating a deal a couple hundred over invoice before the Option Credit, BMW Loyalty Rebate, and USAA Rebate which meant we ended up closing the deal at 14% under MSRP! It's not the most optioned car out there, but it's all my wife really wanted: Imperial Blue Metallic w/ Terracotta InteriorThe only mods I've done to date are installing WeatherTech matts and cargo liner, BlendMount and Mirror Tap for the Escort 9500ix, and installing the InvisiHitch with OEM Wiring Harness. Looking to start coding here in the near future. Here's a pic of our cars I took shortly after taking delivery of the F15. I've since replaced my F30's 20-Spoke Rims (Style 416) with 441M's (best upgrade/mod to date). Those 20-spoke rims were a b!tch to clean!

Would have preferred a little lighter like they offered on the E70 and the current X3 (Deep Sea Blue I think?) just because the darker the car the harder it is to keep clean but we really like it. Looks GREAT in the sunlight and we get TONS of compliments on the color combo all the time.
