Thats how you add power to diesels - more air, and early. Fuel is important, but not as much as forced induction. With the introduction of this motor, you could see the beginning of the end of high performance gas motors and the beginning of high performance diesels. There is more energy per liter in diesel than gas, its cheaper to refine, it operates in a much broader air fuel mixture band than gas and can provide tons of torque, just off idle. That's a winner. Now, perfect the emissions and you have nearly 400hp motor with over 550 lb ft of torque. They also need to demonstrate they've perfected a stout head and head gasket as chamber pressures are going to be incredible.
But imagine all this in a commercially built, daily driver, 3L motor.

This would intense if they gave us this in the US. I wouldn't even look at gas options.
