New Powder Coated Exhaust Tips
I will soon be installing the MPPK and MP exhaust on my X5. I had the exhaust tips powder coated gloss black before my install. Is there a wax or other protectant I could/should apply to the tips before I install them that might help with cleaning, appearance, and/or durability? Thanks…

Any of the consumer-grade sealants (Opti, Sonax, G-Techniq, etc.) will certainly help. Put a layer of wax on top and the tips will be easy to clean.

Great choice on the gloss black tips. A MUST for these Shadowline vehicles IMO. My E82 came from factory with the black tips, not sure why BMW doesn't standardize across their model lines.
