Painted calipers need help
Hey all. Im in a bit of a delema. I have a carbon black X5, with 22" Giovana Kilis wheels which are getting powder coated in gloss black. Im thinking of getting my calipers painted at the same time but am stuck on the colour.
I could do the typical red but i figured it's an opertunity to be a little creative. So im leanong towards burnt copper . Any suggestions with pics would be awesome. My car looks identical to this....which is someone elses car on the forum lol Last edited by forum_ghost; 05-04-2019 at 09:28 AM.. |

Are they being painted or powdercoated?
I went with a bright blue that has a lot of sparkle in it. |

If you go powdercoat route make sure you get them sandblasted ..you don't want any fluid in the calipers once they go in the oven.

With CB I'd go with either a Copper/Burnt Gold or Dark Blue. Gold looks sick against Space Gray.

Agreed. Decision has been made. I'm going burnt copper. I'll post pics when I get my car back. I'm also getting some 22's put on, but full disclaimer, the lowering springs are coming later so it might look a little goofy.

I went more understated rather than the an accent color and love it.
