As with previous cars I owned (bought new), the windshield wipers were quiet for about 3 years. Changed them on my F15, bought OEM, service replaced them, now after three weeks they start to mildy squeak when used in rain. Is there anything that can be done to silent them wipers? I know I know, its silly but annoying for me. Thanks

Talking Have you tried snake oil?

Sorry - couldn't resist. Not much use if it's your wipers that are squeaking however.

Don't use OEM. Buy a set of Bosch or Rain X new silicone set which is what I just switched to. Ever had a squeak after I left oem.

i have the same issue no matter what i do... replaced them with rainx, worked great for a day but squeaks in the rain. Had my windshield replaced due to rock chip and crack - still squeaks on new wipers.

I LOVE rainX and am anal about keeping it on my cars. I find a rarely have to even use the wipers at highway speeds, but when I do I think it kills the squeak as well - or at least helps. It also makes bugs fall off when you go to clean them up.

I love this stuff.

Buy silicone spray. Apply to cloth and wipe the wipers. This will fix it for a good period of time. Reapply again when needed. Cheap & 1 can will last you years.

I use a cleaner and window sealant that has worked great in keeping the wipers quiet. It Is Pinnacle Glass Clean and Seal Kit, might be worth trying.

I would be noisy too if you used me as wipers.
