50i low oil warning add any 0w40?

Hello guys.
Today I got the warning for low oil. (It's hungry for 2 quarts)
It is a holiday weekend and I will need to be doing some driving, no were to buy OEM or Liquimolly. Can I just buy 2 quarts of regular mobile1 0W-40 oil?
I am about 3000 miles out of my next oil change so will move forward and do an oil change next weekend after ordering liquiMolly from FCP euro.

Is driving on "any" synthetic 0w-40 ok for a few days/miles?

I think it could be fine but I would do an oil change to be on the safe side afterwards. I'm running 5w-40 liqui Moly or fuch in my 50i.

Perfectly fine. Don't need to do an oil change because of it either. Just different additives. Certainly not gonna harm anything.

I top off with Castrol Euro Formula 0w-30 in a pinch. Engine hasn’t blown up yet.

It was BMW LL-01 approved until recently— I’m guessing they just didn’t want to pay for the re-approval/sponsorship.

The oil change is also because I don't want to go the full 7.5k-10k miles between changes. Also reaching the 1 year mark.

also, I always keep at least 1L of OEM oil in the car. Plenty of space to keep it. Even if it asks for 2, add 1L, remeasure and add more if it really asks for it.

You should feel fine using any of the BMW recommended oil brands and viscosity ratings on the lists (from the BMW TIS website linked below) for the N63TU engine (don't forget to scroll ALL the way to the bottom if you click on some of the links below...a couple of the lists are LONG...so don't just stop at the top):
