Garage List
I see a lot of the 2018 X5 35i have the trapezoid tips now (straight from the dealer); honestly the round tips did look a tad out of place; the Msport does look nice, but the trapezoid tips on the non-Msport really does look way better.

Looks really good. Where did you get this valence with the "fins?" The ones I have been seeing online do not have them and I prefer that look.

Thanks.

This is part of the non sport aero package. Search the forum and you will find info on it.

Thanks, I got it from here -> Amazon link

My installer told the install was smooth. Those rounds tips does not go with this luxury car.

I think the msport tips are different from these , they leave a lot of gap in top/bottom and look off, personally do not like the one that comes with MPE.

4 inch round tips

For what it's worth, anyone who is considering not changing the valance but wants a bit more aggressive round tips, I installed a set of double walled SS 4' tips. Fits in the hole perfectly and job took just a couple hours. Looks great, but later this year I will do the M-Tech pieces anyway. My OEM tips, besides too small in that big hole, were all nasty and blackened anyway

Yes I still can.
Why don't you PM me last 7 of your VIN and your location.
So I can give a proper quote.

All,

I have a 35i and wanted something better than the slide on chrome. So I went with a set that was designed for a Mini Cooper JCW that is a 2.8” (85mm) (measured) exhaust tip. All I had to do was cut off the slash cut. They are 110mm outlet tip in black with a carbon fiber housing on the outside. Here is the Amazon URL:

1PC Carbon Fiber Exhaust Tip for Mini Cooper 85mm Inlet Black Glossy Muffler Tip for Mini F54/F55/F56/F57/F60/R55 Cooper S/R56 Cooper S/R57 Cooper S/R58 Cooper S

Let me know if you have any questions!
