2018 F15 parked for a month

Hey guys, I couldn't find anything about that's why I'm going to ask here.
I will be away from home for about 4-5 weeks and I'm leaving my 2018 F15 parked in the garage for that time. Is there something I should do before I leave like plug it in to make sure it's going to start when I'm back?

nothing much to do other than get a branded trickle charger, and to fill up the gas tank. ive parked my f15 for months and it has always started. oh dont wash ur car before parking else the rotors will rust badly and seize ur pads to the rotor together.

I parked in airport long term parking for two months, other than being expensive nothing was wrong. I did drive straight to a car wash before heading home.

I was away for 18 days overseas (I know it's not 4-5 weeks), it started right up at Boston Logan airport after I arrived... it was 34 degrees out.

Put your battery on trickle charge and you should be fine.

Yes. You should drain all fluids, take off wheels and put the car on support. Wax all exterior and interior. Take off injectors and keep them in linen cloth at 4 degrees Celsius in wine cooler. Upon return you should replace spark plugs and coils. Walnut blast intake, swap all rotors and buy new battery. Don't forget to swap transmission fluid and filter and lube turbines from inside (will require disassembly). This is the standard procedure for 2-3 weeks off. If you are going for a month - it's better to sell the car and buy new one upon return.

Just fill the gas tank. Don't even bother adding fuel stabilizer.

If your battery is dead on a 2018 X5 after letting it sit for a month, you have a faulty battery in the first place.

I left my 2014 parked for over 30 days straight in near freezing temperature last month. Started on the first attempt. No tickle charger.

I would just leave your 2018 just like that. If it doesnt start, you have to get it looked at.

Wrong advice to not charge - will shorten life of the battery, even though it may start the car after a month of no usage.

Here's some info from the BMW TIS website in regards to their recommendation for battery charging calendar: https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/f...system/2RvCTKq

Granted, a new vehicle and battery parked for about a month will probably start upon return...but if you find yourself in this situation a lot...you may want to invest in a battery maintainer/tender that you can hook up quickly to the jump start locations in the engine bay. Read the material at the link above for the reason why (which is what some have already stated in regard to long-term health of your battery).
