I was just saying nothing will go wrong if you leave for a month or more.

Personally I run a trickle charger just about every two weeks when the weather is good to top up the battery if I haven't done any road trips lately. The V8 cooling system when you turn the car off likes to eat batteries.

Hi everyone.
Was thinking if anyone knows of any certified trickle chargers for our trucks. I have a X5d F15 (2018) and will park it for 1 month. I need it for our cold winters too..
I already have a Noco Genius G3500 but it says it won't do for diesel engines....Not sure why. I have heard very good reviews for the CTEK trickle chargers.
Also, I asked my dealer (parts dept) they said they have BMW charger for CAD $180 plus tax. It seems a little over priced....
Any input...?
Thanks!
Tom

I'm intrigued. What is the reason for filling the fuel tank? Does it apply to both petrol and diesel cars?

If you leave your tank empty over time water will condensate inside

CTEK makes the BMW trickle chargers you buy in their parts department.
