M-Sport Steering wheel badge

I have a query regarding the factory fitted M-Sport Steering wheel. (Not retrofitted afterwards)
At the base of the wheel, where the M badge is fitted, is it flush with the surrounding trim, or is it placed deeper inside the trim?


I ask because I have retrofitted M Sport Steering wheel and that badge being deeper inside the trim is very annoying when parking and rotating the steering wheel with one hand only.

They are all the same or I got scammed with a fake wheel?

It is recessed. Yours is correct.
