That set is available in the market already for a few months. Let me know if you need it.
Also, as far as warranty, if you really worry about that, keep your car as stock as possible. Otherwise, dealer will always find a way to void your warranty just because they are being an ass about it.
But, in my experience with my F10 running JB4 Stage 2, with catless downpipe, and lowered on KW suspension, also with my customer E92 with JB3, full cat back exhaust, Bilstein PSS10 coilover, with Brembo brakes, they still takes care the car without any trouble. But then, they are dealers in LA, the capital of fixed up cars.
Thanks for the quick reply. I don't want to give them a reason to void my warranty but I really hate that gap inside the fenders. Looks ugly. I was thinking of getting 21" wheels just because of that but it is not going help really.

By going 21" is not going to help, because the overall diameter of the wheels are still going to be the same with the original. That's why it always increase in wheel diameter and reduce in tire thickness. Some new cars are sensitive with overall diameter change, which will trigger an error on the ABS or in your case DHP system. But, based on Opasha settings, his overall diameter is increased between .5" to 1" and seems to be ok, except the rubbing issues on a full turn.
Anyway, good luck in satisfying the needs, feel free to ask if you have any other questions.

No spacer yet. But I was planning to go with 5mm front and 15mm rear if I am not going to change the wheels, but looks like I am going to change wheels soon.

Do you know anyone in MN that would do modifications in my X5? Just wanted to do some coding and install the Euro front bumper inserts.

Refer to the thread below in the coding section. It would seem member smartas lives in MN. He might be able to help you or point you in the right direction. PM him and see.

Thanks guys. Can't wait to see the final product too. Unfortunately I will only be seeing it from pictures as I am still overseas.

wdimagineer,
Would love to see your car and meet you in person. It is very unfortunate that I planned this trip over the bimmerfest.

But hey, at least my car enjoy it, and I will still be able to enjoy it in soon.

Finally, here is the new design of HRE wheel that is being installed on my X5.
I'm still waiting for the whole car picture, maybe some members who are on-site can enlighten me and the others.

Awesome! Can't wait to see it, Ben! I looked all over for pictures with this particular rim and the only one I could find that was even close to the HRE 15 spoke was this modded e70 by PriorDesign:

Your car is going to look so sick!!
