I also have a production number and am waiting for it to go into production.
I contacted my dealer about a production week, and they are telling me that they don't have that info. I have read other posts about the dealer having that info once they receive the order number. Anyone know, is my dealer lying to me? Does the dealer get production week once they get order number? |

Saw one in at the Vegas dealership yesterday. It was a sDrive3.5 in Carbon Black Metallic, which is the very deep blue color.
The only issue was I parked two spots away from it and didn't realize it was the new X5, from the side profile it looked like the X3. But when I got up close and had a good look, it does look good in person. The pictures just don't do it justice. The interior is nice and the nav screen is huge and very clear.

I drove an xLine today and will say, with how big that screen is and no hood over it, not a bit of glare at all. Something in the screen technology the salesman told me was originally designed for convertibles. I've never had any glare issues on my F30 'tablet' screen either...

For me production number was disclosed in a week. Production week was disclosed by BMW customer service appx 6 weeks later, and that was two a week ago. This week they now have no production week and tell me to contact my dealer. So, if you have time call both customer service and the dealer. A VIN is issued when production begins. |

Does anyone know if the offset on these 20s are the same as the e70? Will e70 wheels work on the F15? I have an F15 M Sport on order and want to prep some winter wheels and tires... thanks

I think there is another thread discussing this that says E70 wheels will not fit an F15.

I think they were aiming for a family resemblance. X3 looks similar too. On a quick glance you can mistake any of the three for one another.

I think its going to look better in person, but I can see everyones point how it "looks" a little more tame. One thing about it, our eyes have been adjusted to the old body style for way too many years. And like most model updates, many times people hate it at first and then suddenly the planets align and it ends up being the best look to date.
Isnt anyone excited about the additional 50 horses and added torque? |

great looking car. m sport and 20"s is def way to go. something still bothers me about the tail end... i think the taillights to big and angled down. if they were horizontal it would be perfect but BMW insists on making every read end look that way.
enjoy! great color |
