No offense but I call bullshit.
I will take a pic of pipes later hey look exactly same whether it swap sides or put upside down. And the puck for the connector comes right off with three bolts and can be used to plug in the connector from the car and zip tied. I am so confident I will show pics(again need to have m sport tips upside down but they fit perfectly in slit upside down and the pipe to muffler is the same visually and by measurement. I will take to muffler shop next week and inquire to put this to bed. |

Are you guys seriously questioning someone that do this as a job lol. I'm pretty sure he already thought about the possibility of the m sport tips before anyone else and confirmed that it doesn't fit.

That is what happens when people don't listen to the guys here that have gone thru the process of looking into this things and try to make things work out for all of us the easy way.
I am sure there is always a better way but not always practical. |

OK, I (muffler guys) put the flip from old pipes, now it sounds much better.
They put the flip to the bottom of the pile, which is kind of odd, but they saying otherwise it wouldn't fit. Anyhow, it is doing its job. Last edited by Mu5e; 10-03-2016 at 10:31 PM.. |

Also, I've put tape on remaining chrome details of the rear bumper.
Before/after for comparison. Also wondering what to do with original bumper? Should I sell it (where?) Or just through away? Last edited by Mu5e; 10-03-2016 at 10:38 PM.. |

You can sell it or just give it away. I sold the bottom piece of my side skirts for cost of shipping after I retrofit running boards.

Do you guys think this would achieve the same look without the "hassle" of changing the rear diffuser/valence? Would it stick out too much or not work at all?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/304-Stainles...-/252420395244 My wife just got one (f15) and that'd be the only thing we'd change on the exterior. |

If you have M-sport already and you get MPE there is no exhaust tip to change.
If you have non M-sport like Luxury or Xline then you can get the changed exhaust tip, but it is not required I believe, but if you buy it the square tips it should come with the corresponding bottom trim, no other "square" valence to order.

TxBeem - do you have the part numbers for this? Is the Valence the same between the 50i non MSport and the new 2018's? Also if I don't want to cut and put new tips does anyone have the part # for the updated 35d exhaust with the welded in Alu-look for my XLine? I've searched the online ETK's and used 2018 VINs and Build dates but can't seem to find the part #.

Retrofit "square" exhaust tip to my round ones
Is this part number for 2018 rear valence? Or the 50i rear valence. Cause it's the same part number thrown around for years

Got mine installed today! So much better than the round tips!!
Quick note the oem kit comes with the valve dummy plug for the passenger side exhaust valve. I had my valve removed and the dummy plug installed; zero errors. I can hardly tell a difference in exhaust tone; but in my opinion it sounds better! |

Roundel to Square tip conversion
Converted from the round ones. There was no rattle, errors (since there is o2 sensor on the passenger side) after the conversion. Pretty pleased with it. Before and after pics attached below.
