BMW "online search" stopped working?

One of the more useful features of the car that I use all the time recently stopped working. It gives me "no connection" message every time I try to use this function. Everything else seems to be working fine like news, updated weather forecast etc...

Did this happen to anyone else?

yea this and my traffic goes in and out.......so frustrating when i need to decide on the l.i.e or northern state

I have horrible experience with connections all the time. Especially the BMW Remote app, it can never locate my car, even when I'm standing right next to it.

Remove App and reinstall it. That should fix it.

no issues here. I wonder if its a connectivity issue with the antique 3G sim BMW uses. Seems like a lot of people are having issues and some don't have any.

Same issue here in So.Cal, I think it has been going on for 4 days.

yep, same in chicago. POI wasn't working when using voice (no connection) but worked fine when i used the trackpad...weird

I've never used it. Sounds gimmicky. Now it's sounding buggy.

Not working for me in San Diego or Newport Beach, so annoyed!!! I used to use it all the time.
