MPPK install - Drivetrain error

I wonder how many unwary customers have been scammed out of this $1,000+ on this dealer installed option.

With as many problems as my dealer had installing the software I wouldn't be surprised if others gave up and acted as if it were installed. My dealership experience was A+ and they kept me in the loop multiple times per day.

I know hearing my great experience doesn't help those with a bad one, but hopefully it shows that the situation can be corrected.

Well it was confirmed today ours did not have the MPPK installed. Thanks guys for your replies. I would have never known and just assumed it was installed.

Don't mean to thread jack but how much hp is the MPPK supposedly adding?

My sales guy said it states 20-25HP but it's closer to 30 in reality. Who knows if he's right.
Maybe someone has dyno'd theirs.

Dinan did a Dyno to a BMW 335i M Performance Power Kit. Factory quoted at 320hp / 332 lb-ft torque, but dyno shows 336 bhp / 377 lb-ft torque

I wouldn't be surprised that the MPPK is underrated. BMW claims it knocks 0-60 by .5 seconds and you need more than 20hp gain to accomplish that.
