He did a better job at the lines than the people who maintains that lot.

Waiting for the OP's next post to bust out the measuring tape and blueprints of the parking spots lol.

I'd be afraid to leave the car parking like that, the last thing you want is getting keyed.

Many times I'd have to park the wide X5 so perfectly with surround view camera just to have less chance to get dents and scratches, and they still happen unfortunately.

Lol at this thread. The spots are clearly arranged in a strange way making it harder to identify if they are regular spots or not. Not a big deal to me.

This happens to me every time. Is someone on the board like this. Can you please explain why someone would like to park beside another car in an empty parking garage.

Yes I do that too, just to find that someone has taken the extra space to their advantage when I return...

When I see a car parked far away from anything else the first thing I think is that this person is like me, they don't want anyone dinging them.

I think sometimes people who are like minded will park next to these guys thinking that they've got at least one other person who still take precautions when opening their door.

Just a thought.

i agree with touchdown83 if i see another nice vehicle strategically parked i might try to be his or her neighbor thinking i have eliminated one side of dings lol

I really don't get why this is a big deal because the spot he crossed over isn't even a parking spot. bytheway, beautiful looking X5! one of the best looking F15's on this forum for sure.

I believe this is a parking lot (near Chinatown) that u pay for. It's not an "open" lot like a shopping center. Thankfully no damage was done. In a world where ppl don't respect other ppls property, there is no right or wrong here, just opinions . . .

Except mine wasn't a obvious spot like this one and I was in a paid parking lot

If I was this guy I would have parked my car all the way to the right.

Correct. It was a paid parking lot in Chinatown. It was my first time parking in this lot and probably my last...

I don't get what all the rage is about. This is perfectly compliant parking job. This shows the world that as a BMW owner, you have arrived, and that you're the boss. By parking this way, it ensures that others won't dare to even think about parking next to you.

IMO, Alan should have thrown some velvet ropes or cones around his car to ensure claimed territory. That's what real ballerz do.
