New owner here (Pics)
We traded in our 2007 E93 328i which had 80K miles on it and it was really reliable, no issues at all other than the usual maintenance stuff. We bought it brand new.
I've always liked the look of X5s and we weren't really shopping for it. We were looking at the cheaper X4 but we just couldn't resist the new X5. Somehow I'm not a fan of the newer BMW steering, on our E93, the steering wheel was so heavy and I felt it was easier to drive like that. Here is our build: Premium Package M-Sport Drivers Assistance ConnectedDrive I don't regret the white color that we got, we didn't want to wait for the mineral white and this white really shines at night. Humans are an amazing creatures. They seem to adapt to change very well I'm pretty sure the lighter steering feel will be well appreciated in a few months. Like you I hated theater ring but now I really like it better than the previous E70 and E60 cars I had.

Nice. You picked up a 2016? That's what we ordered as well. I have another 4 weeks before I see it.

Congratulations. Same here with the steering, but as has been said you get used to it and now it is good, except at very, very high speed and I can't see you being able to do that in your country! Wheels also nice, I've got them form winters.

We ordered ours on August 11th (in Toronto). We were told to expect it the last week in September or first week in October. He said most likely the later. I'm trying to figure out a winter setup. Tried to price out the 491 wheels but no luck. The Dealership is trying to sell me the 611M dressed with Pirelli Scorpions for $5,300 + Tax, includes installation. Want the 491 "black" rims for the winter. I guess I'll have settle for replica's if I can find them in that style. Black is a for sure.

They also told me I could swap out the 20" M's for these for 1200 extra.... might do that and worry about summer rubber/rims later... a bit to choose from but not that much (that looks good). |
