"AMG, GLE, C63, S....coupe"
I got bored half way through the name of that car.
Impressive showing from the X6 but it's still ugly.

Strangely, I still like the look of the GLE 63S. Granted, I came over to my X5M from AMG, but having seen them in person I also think they look pretty darn bad ass. I still prefer the X5M (the interior totally outclasses the Merc), but seeing the stance of the GLE coupe in person it's pretty cool, IMO. But I am the exception...

Just got a 2016 X6M. While the looks are always subjective if you haven't driven one your missing something. I might think the car you own is ugly. But go test drive a X6M, you'll be amazed.

Agreed. I like it more and more. It is challenging at first but it draws in the more you see it.

Under the arguably questionable sheet metal is another master-class is chassis dynamics and traction management.

The engineers at BMW M GmbH are toying with people.

Under the hood is where heart of the monster resides. Underrated in power and underrated by competitors alike.

Question its existence, how ugly it is, how useless it is. It will take that as a slight and it will show you the meaning of power and speed.

If one is arrogant enough to want to race because they judged the cover and didn't read the book will absolutely lose in a most embarrassing manner.

X6 M!

That was fun.

How is this on the front page?

Seriously, there are less than 100 people in the US that would consider speed, horsepower and all the things these have before they bought one of these 400-600hp crossovers.

That's great you can zip off a high 11 second 1/4 mile time or drag on a kid in a civic/evo/subby on your way to the grocery store! Or your rich housewife can drive one of these 6 figure things.....Who cares? They all look terrible!

Let's be real when people think of purpose built hauling trucks or SUVs they are thinking Escalade, Yukon Denali, Tahoe, Ford whatever......I just don't understand these vehicles.

well I forgot which magazine it was but they tested the Cayanne Turbo vs X6M vs GLE AMG and posted their track times vs the F80 M3 and the X6M had a better time! If money was of no concern I would buy it.

And why do so many people on these boards say "housewife on the way to the grocery store" not all women are housewives living off their husbands income, what about working wives/mothers who use the cars for both business and family purposes, like my wife! X6 is the perfect car for her and I love driving it as well.

Yep.
BMW nut through and through, but would much rather have the RR. A regular one at that.

A) Just because you don't understand it doesn't mean no one else is interested, and
B) you can do a lot more than drag in an X6 M. Did you see the performance figures the X6 M put down in Motortrend and Car & Driver? It pulled over 1.0G on the skidpad. Lapped Big Willow FASTER than a new M3. Frankly I think the X6 M is amazing, and it makes me extremely excited to see how amazing the next M5 is going to be.

Yet the RR is a blast to drive, must utilitarian, provides the most compliant ride and is the most off road capable.

Losing by 3 car lengths in the 1/4 mile to vehicles significantly lighter and more powerful is pathetic? I guess most of the vehicles on this forum are pathetic compared to the RR Sport SVR then.

You are not the only exception, after I saw the GLE63 in person, I prefer it over the X6M.
