Front tow hook cover replacement
Took a trip to Florida last week and the front cover mysteriously disappeared about mid week there. Anyone know if there is an outfit that sells them painted? Just have feeling the dealer would drag their feet and take a month.

This happened to me on the previous 50iMSport. I purchased the primered version from RealOEM and took it to a shop and had them paint it. They painted it for free because they happened to have another mineral white X5 they were fixing so they didn't have to mix or setup paint for my part. Guessing it would range from free to $20 to have a shop paint it. The unpainted part was ~$25-30.
Here's the one for the X5M - http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/show...diagId=51_2838

Dealer said it would take a week to get the plug and then I would have to wait until the body shop had to use my paint color for a project before they would paint such a small item.
Great service model for a $100K+ product. It seems I read somewhere you can order them from the factory already painted, can anyone confirm this? |
