I have the x35i without fender flares. Tires do seem to pop out ever so slightly with the BMW recommended offset for 20 x 11 rears but I think I'll grow to like it. If not i would go get the flares. Here's a shot of the side profile.
Nice! Random pics?! I'm thinking of doing the same.

It should look great provided you keep the offsets in check. Aftermarket rims tend to be too aggressive.

BTW, what color is that? The 599s with the gloss black against machined silver look absolutely amazing on Alpine White.

So dope. Do you make any changes to the headlight trim or is it just the reflection in that first pic?

We're you able to get it off? If not, try using a clay bar. It works wonders. Remember to use a detail spray as a lubricant while using it. I would try clay before I resorted to a polishing compound.

Was about to get the dark line out of the paint, but there still is a faint "discoloration" along where the original scrape was.

Thanks for your advice. I will use the claybar as you mentioned, then get her a good detailing when I get back from my business trip.

Hopefully that will get rid of it entirely.

I'm thankful the scratch wasn't dug into the car. I know it's just a machine at the end of the day, but most of us on this forum see it as much more than that.

when a had my f10 a 3 years back, a car came into contact with mine transferring his paint onto my rear fender. Luckily my car did not sustain any damage but I thought I needed a repaint fender. I ended up taking my porter cable combined with a white polishing pad and megs 205. It took all the marks off and you couldn't even tell anything happened. from the looks of the picture, you should be able to get that off, it should look good as new once polished.

Just got it last week. It had everything I wanted minus m sport so I'll be doing a retrofit soon hopefully. I hate the black plastic pieces on the bottom of the bumpers and side skirts.

Are those the Conti DWS06 tires? If so, good to know they have tires that fit the 21" 599's. Where'd you pick up the wheel/tire set and how much did it run you if you don't mind?

Oops, I should pay more attention. I see that these are in fact 20's and DWS's from a later post. My bad.
