I think it's a pretty bad deal especially on 2016. Residual should be much higher and payment much lower without $3K downpayment. PM me if you need another contact.

Residual is 51%

What do you guys think? Should I push for more? Dealer is saying he can't go any lower.
The problem with this deal is that the residual on 2016s is much lower than 2017. So in fact you can get a 2017 at an effectively better price because it has a 58% instead of a 54% residual. So while the discount NT is decent, it is offset alot by the lower residual.

I was expecting payment to be around $1250. So I told dealer either he can make $1250 somehow or no deal. Really want 2016 model so I could still have full maintenance until 50k miles

If you are leasing and go with 15K miles you will be at 45K still below the 50K mile warranty, or I am missing something?

I was talking about free maintenance. 2017 models only have 36k mile free maintenance and some things as brake rotors, wiper blades and couple more things are not covered. 2016 models still have good old 50k mile free maintenance and fully covered.

Good luck. You should be able to get the car for that price or lower. Also, I would do a quick math on how much it could cost you to replace the rotors out of warranty vs. paying more for the lease. You can save even more if you put MSDs instead of cash upfront if your state allows it (or order from an out of state dealer)

How are you guys getting the low lease #'s?

I am in Houston TX, no x5m's currently in town by the way.

I have tried 3 different dealers, 2 in Houston and 1 out of state.
113 msrp x5m,
3000 down includes first payment
36/10K @ 1788.00 was best I got in town.

Out of state was 1725.00
That was msrp 113,000 asking 107,500

Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!

Anyone lease one recently? apparently BMW stopped the 7 MSD Program, best MF rate I'm getting is .00150 so far, 57% residual on 2017 with 12K.

Also has anyone ever explored the One Pay lease? I know Porsche completely waives the MF if you do a one payment lease, not sure how the BMW program works.

MSD discounting was discontinued as of 5/1/17. Really blows!

I am looking for one now but dealers don't want to play ball. I was trying to get a $1100 payment at 10k miles over 3 years

BMW David at Steve Thomas. PM if you need contact detail. What MSRP is the car you are looking at? Mine is $117K and I am at $1,200 with 7MSD and about $2,000 upfront to cover fees, registration and a small downpayment to keep the payment below $1,200 (was important for the MSDs).

I was reading the msd program was ending. Is this not the case?

MSD Program was cancel/remove in May. Money Factor is higher today and residuals lowers that some of the deals that are posted above. So those will be hard to match!

True it's very difficult. The closest I have came to that was 1300 a month. I'm still looking and hoping though!

It's hard to know whether you are getting a good deal without the MSRP of the car you are looking at. I think $1,300 a month for a fully loaded $120K+ car is a good deal

Agreed but I'm mostly looking at 113k - 115k but then getting a 8% discount but they still can't hit the payment.

My monthly payment on (36 months/10K) is exactly 1% of MSRP, but that included 7 MSD, a residual of 60% and about 11% of MSRP. $1,300 does not sounds terrible; you could probably improve the discount for a better payment but the residual and money factor would be the same across the board for any "honest" dealer, that additional 2-3% discount should put you at about $1,250 or so. You can always wait and see if the July program is more aggressive given that things slow down in the summer.

My lease is low $1,200s for a $117K car with 7MSDs. Since they have now discontinued the MSD program, the leases will be more expensive. From what I hear, the BMW leases are worse now than even 6 months ago (lower residuals, lower discounts, higher MFs). I would recommend giving David Aviles a call who helped me out my last two leases, he works for the Steven Thomas dealership in CA

What he said. David Aviles is the man when it comes to best BMW pricing. Already recommended him to 2 of my friends and he did not let them down. I don't think I will ever shop any other BMW dealer anymore than David.
