Aluminum pedal suggestions

Hi all -

Any suggestions on aluminum pedal choices? I've bought the ones from Bimmian a few times. Anything else out there? I wouldn't be opposed to CF but then I'd have to change the dead pedal. What do you guys have?

So I was googling around for aluminum pedal images before I posted this and what do I find? A picture of my feet I was like WOW, nice shoes. Wait, that's me....

Are those fire resistant racing pumps in the photo?

Not exactly track approved. The guys on the other forum never knew what to expect if I started a thread called summer shoes.

But seriously, I need me some pedals. Before I go the Bimmian route again, any suggestions?

When I search aluminum pedals here, I get tons and tons of results but not what I'm looking for. I don't think the search links the words together so I get every thread that has the words aluminum or pedals.

Thanks

I just noticed my pedals today, it's rubber and it works. Lol

These look good.

These are the ones I went with. Just ordered them, actually. I am still on the fence about switching the dead pedal out to match the pattern on the pedals.

2JNoSol - I saw those, not loving them, but thank you.
Tastelid - Was it at least the M blue
Can-am and Urban Extant - The BMW website didn't show any pedals available for the F86 when I looked. Are these for the E70/71?

Thanks guys.

EDIT - I just looked again at BMW and now they come up.

I'd say it was more like the i3 blue!

They are available for the F85/86. The BMW website for accessories is notoriously badly updated. They still don't show the OEM winter tire set as even an option.

If one goes to shopbmwusa.com, selects vehicle accessories ----> interior ---->foot rests & pedals then inputs 2015 as the model year, m models as the model, and then selects X5 or X6 M, they appear. If inputing 2016 as the model year, nothing shows. We all know there are no changes between 2015 and 2016, so they will fit.

Good luck, navigating their website takes a PhD in navigating poor design!

I noticed this too. Just changed the search to 2015, same platform. Odd they can't manage to update the web site in this way. Seen it show up this way on other sites too. Pretty poor sales strategies...

If my business goes under, BMW is on my list of places that need me to fix their broken bullshit. That whole order tracking process? Awful. I can track a $1 item from Amazon better than I can track a $100k+ car... Their parts website is also terrible, as is browsing anything on mobile (click a link to a specific page, get redirected to the mobile homepage. THANKS!)

I run a company that builds substantial websites for a living.

Coming across sites like BMW makes me want to cry. Very painful.

Yeah, for some odd reason I thought you didn't like the M Performance ones so offered eBay parts. Always go OEM if possible. Here's the link to the M Performance ones.

Does anyone know how to install the M performance footrest? The instructions say to put it over the existing one but the pictures are from cars without the M footrest (with the center rubber piece).

Thanks to everyone for your input

I'm undecided. I prefer the looks of the Bimmian pedals but wanted something different. I guess I'll sit it out for a while. Maybe the M pedals will grow on me.

There is a sticker in the back of the oem footrest. Clean the existing one and put this one on top of it. Will hold.
